Being a Mom

Photobucket

There are many women in my life who are great examples of what a mother should be. They all have taught me different ways to rise to the occasion and really be a mother. They do alot of mothering still, even though I am closer to 30 then ever, and I suppose that will never change. The many mother figures in my life make sure I am taken care of when I am ill, loved unconditionally, and my own mother still gets me gifts on every inane holiday, just to name a few .

My mother is the best cheerleader, literally. In my school days she would make up Choose the Right cheers before I left to a party, and "you can do it" chants on exam days. She cheers me on still. I love her dearly. Simply put, her mothering is one of the best gifts in my life.

So at this time of year I am able to really focus on what being a mother means to me. I am the mother to one beautiful son. Being his mother is the most important role I have ever had in my short (getting longer as I get closer to 30) life. Being a mother is hard, but the gift you receive is worth so much more then the price. I love being a mom. I am honored to be Weston's mother.

Happy Mother's Day.

Your mother truly is the BEST cheerleader! She is always so positive, looking at the bright side of things, finding a solution to every problem rather than complaining about it. She is one hilarious lady, and we just love her! :) We love you too! You are an exceptional mother to Weston. The Lord could not have entrusted him with better parents. He is one sweet boy and he is just as lucky to have you as you are to have him. Love you Miss Chari!
