Its true- buying your pumpkin from the grocery store is less expensive, but it does not hold the same magic as a patch (or in my case a vendor on the side of the road). Weston did not love the “patch” as much as I hoped. It was over pretty fast and our experience made me miss the Young Farm days. But I still got some cute pictures and a 10% off coupon for a Christmas tree. Alright!
When I was at Sprouts this weekend they had crate of pumpkins called Fairytale Pumpkins- they were awesome. They had this whole white/ orange thing going on, plus they looked like they were right out of a storybook. I am going to go back and get one for sure. They were $8 and heavy enough that I needed help to lift it. A pretty good buy considering what I paid for my “patch” orange one.
Life is moving at a regrettably fast pace these days, but Weston and I set a new record of hanging out on the trampoline for 4 hours. When I woke up the next day my body let me know I am getting old. Here’s to aging not so gracefully as I “go boom” on the trampoline.
Random Tip: Rachel Ray says; Put sticks of butter in the freeze and grate over toast or popcorn when needed. This allows the butter to keep its fresh taste and extending the life of your butter. Have a heart and save butter. Thanks R.R.

Love the pumpkins... and the butter tip!
Nice butter tip!! Also I heard GREAT news of Weston at the park!! I LOVE the smells and tastes of Fall. Do you know if there are some good pumpkin patches here?
I'm too lazy to clean the grater all the time. :) I love picking out pumpkins. Your fall display looks so nice Chari, makes me feel so unfestive.
I love Sprouts and those Fairytale Pumpkins sound cool. I might have to check those out. I love that your so festive. I've been such a slacker this year and don't have any decorations up. My mother would be so ashamed. :)
You crack me up.
Hey you! Cute fall display!!! I'm such a slacker and haven't put up my Halloween decor yet. I better get on that if I'm hosting the Halloween Chili Shin Digg this year again! :)
I love reading your posts, you are too funny. Hope you like the t-shirts! :) See you Saturday for the Zoo Walk! YIPPPPPPEEEEEEEE!
Love your fall decoration!! So cute!! I love the fall especially after a hot summer!
