a few of my favorite things

We had a great thanksgiving. We enjoyed the holiday with my mom's side of our family which was nice. The food is always great; my uncle Roger makes a smoked turkey every year for an appetizer! Weston loved their horses and enjoyed feeding them, he got scared of their big noses coming at him- it was cute. It was after the dinner was over that things got a little crazy. We had to make a run to the urgent care (Wes has strep throat), got a ticket for expired tags, and there was that awkward conversation about the reality of global warming with Wade’s family..... but it really was awesome. All the craziness always makes things memorable. By the way, Weston is doing much better. It was so nice to have Wade home all weekend. I wish he got paid to stay at home and hang out with Weston and me.
There was a very humorous side to Thanksgiving. I decided to make Christmas music cd's for my whole family and distribute them Thanksgiving morning. I stayed up late the night before burning them and putting on the labels. Well, I decided to listen to one while I was decorating for Christmas yesterday. I realized that I had made a mistake on half of the cd's. All I want for Christmas was actually All I want is you by U2, which incidentally was the song Wade and I danced to at our wedding. I wonder what my mother in law was thinking when she decorating her tree, listening to the cd I made her and U2 busted in? Pretty funny.

Ha ha! You always have the most interesting stories. Those pictures are so cool. I didn't take any this weekend. I'm sure the U2 song will just be interpreted as a momento from you and Wade remembering your wedding day and stuff. Don't worry about it.
