"His solitary journey brought great company for our little version of that path—the merciful care of our Father in Heaven, the unfailing companionship of this Beloved Son, the consummate gift of the Holy Ghost, angels in heaven, family members on both sides of the veil, prophets and apostles, teachers, leaders, friends. All of these and more have been given as companions for our mortal journey because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the Restoration of His gospel".
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
This was one of my favorite talks from conference. There are so many great ones to choose from one. But this section made me think of my Mom. Yesterday was a rough day, it was a Clinic day for Weston. Without going into alot of detail it is a everyother week appointment where we review Weston's progress, some weeks are great, some are not. My mom was kind enough to chauffeur me around, because she is sweet and knows how much that helps. At the end of our meeting, my mom knew I was deflated. She said,

"Your just like a pancake Chari! You flatten out and I have to butter and syrup you up to make you yummy again".
It was such a JoAnn thing to say. She then went on to do her motherly duties of making me feel strong and happy again. It does not take long when your mom uses food analogies where you are the meal. My heart was full to have a support like her in my life. My mother supports me in my own mothering experience tremendously. So although this is late, I wanted to wish her a Happy Mother's Day. But REALLY, I really think we should have a Mother's Day once a week.

These are a random collection of photos

* Wade popping his collar after one of his surgeries

*Weston noticing and trying to tell me something is odd about Daddy's mouth

*Visiting the family so they could see that Wade was not as badly disfigured as they worried

* The Boy's Mother's Day program at school. I had a lovely time.
Also I tried to make the pictures in cute formations, no such luck!
