scaling the cliffs of insanity"?(that's for David)
That would be a No.
Wade fell off the mountain when he was hiking down (steep decline) and a small landslide occurred and this is all he recalls.
My husband is home now after falling nearly 50 feet. He broke his arm, leg, and his face (mostly his jaw area) along with puncture wounds and abrasions, he is recovering. He mumbles a many "I love you" and "I'm so sorry". This makes the tough moments easier. I try to laugh to keep from crying mostly. I will never complain about not sleeping again, because I have broken all my previous records of life without sleep. Wade will be recovering for a while. I have to say a few things; first, that I love him, that I proud of him. If the BSA could of seen him, they to, would of been proud of how he handled himself. True Eagle Scout. That I am grateful. Grateful to the volunteers who risked their lives, and to Maricopa Search and Rescue. To find out more about their operation look here:

they rely on donations and fund raisers-I plan to have a fund raiser in the future
I am thankful for a family who loves me. Who stands by me. I am grateful for a father like mine. Who carried on through the wilderness looking for my husband, only to locate him when he heard him cry out. He never left him, even though he could never see him. He waited and waited, often in silence, until finally (hours later) the crews heard him too-then they rescued him. I also must say, that my Heavenly Father was present. That he heard my prayers, that I was not alone when my heart was breaking. I will keep you updated on the progress of our family as we sojourn on through the weeks and months ahead. Thank you for thinking and praying on our behalf, we know it strengthens our hearts.
I kind of get a kick out of all the false information that the news reports-despite the terrain being very "rugged"-Wade was taken by helicopter to Scottsdale
Also-I am very sorry about taking the comments away yet again-I appreciate greatly the nice ones I got. But what can I say? I am having comment issues. Thank you for the support.
