Almost the Happiest place on earth

Disneyland would of been the happiest place on earth if the men in my family were there. But this was a Girls Trip, with the exception of 3 attractive little boys. I was excited and apprehensive about Disneyland. I knew that Weston liking the experience was going to be a gamble, and everyone knew how much I wanted him to love it.

Mistakes

number 1: Running into Disneyland to put Weston on Pirates of the Caribbean for his 1st ride. He had that look on his face like I was so happy a minute ago, but now I face my impending doom at the hand of pirates

2: picking the Winnie the Pooh ride next- I think Weston thought he was in hell (so I decided to skip Mr.Toads wild ride)

3: Not taking a picture of the character Jack Sparrow, a FAKE Johnny Depp is better then no Johnny Depp

4: Wearing Jeans on a Hot day

5: Riding the Nemo submarine ride. It had technical difficulties so I was stuck at the end for 8 minutes-Weston passed out, it was so hot.

6: Asking Marci to take pictures of Wes and I because we did not have any, handing her the camera and dropping it and breaking it. Blogging maybe lame until I get my camera fixed.

Things We did right

1: Riding the Casey Jr. Circus train 6 times (Weston's favorite ride, and I had never been on it before)

2: Riding the slow Storybook Land boats 4 times so Weston could watch his favorite ride go by

3: Going on the Monster Inc. ride 5 times because Gavin and Weston loved it so

4: Daring to ask if Disneyland carried Gluten free pasta and other items- THEY DID! Major worry avoided!

5: Taking Weston to Disneyland-because he had a great time. Some rides he liked-some he did not. But he wants to go again. ( 5.5 Deciding that I really deserved 2 churros)

I loved Hanging out with my family, they are so much fun. We never waited more then 10 minutes for a ride. The trip was filled with all the great things you find in a GREAT movie; Drama, Laughter, Awesome scenery, Johnny Depp(well almost)! Glad to be home with the hubby again. He is so sweet- he left everything where it was when I left, so when I got home, I would know exactly where the blocks on the floor were! :) So sweet.

Happy 2nd Birthday Theron. We love you! and Happy Birthday to Meredith!

Sorry, you closed your eyes!

Retraction:

After reading my post-my Husband thought I made him sound lazy- not the case. He did the laundry and I came home to a spotless kitchen. Thanks Honey.

I think the Nemo ride is a little lame...even if you aren't stuck on it. I'm glad Weston had a positive experience. You guys were lucky you had no big lines.

So jealous! What a fun girls trip. Glad you're back safe and you had a good time. I think I would've passed out in the sub too, confined spaces you know. :)

That's so fun to take a trip to Disneyland with the girls and the cute boys of course. My kids love to go, the other night Mario wouldn't go to bed cause he wanted to go to disneyland NOW! not very possible...
I'm glad you are home save, after a few mistakes...we always have a bunch and we learn for the next trip. When we went last time we got a pass for Mario and he and the rest of the fam didn't have to wait in lines, it's really great for him since he doesn't do well in long lines. I love Weston's Mickey shirt, he is SO Cute!!

This was a FUN trip! I loved Weston to pieces before, but after spending four days with him I have grown to love him SO much more! He is the sweetest and most loving little boy, and he did great at Disneyland. I love our family, drama and all. Lynette, my mom, and I want to make a tradition every summer for a girls only trip. We are thinking beach house next summer to be lazy and hang out on the beach :)~

I'm so happy that you guys loved Disneyland, or parts of it.
I couldn't help but laugh about the blocks left in the exact place as you left them, and then the retraction of your throughtful husband. We all understand :)
