This has been a big year for me. I turned 26 and on Friday I will celebrate my 6 year anniversary. It is hard to believe, it is has gone by so fast. We take an annual anniversary trip every year, which I highly recommend. Last year we went to Zion National Park. It was a blast, we had decided to do the cabin thing this year but Wade surprised me, and we are going to Zion's again. We are going in April and I am so looking forward to it. For my actual anniversary I will be attending a conference, which is kind of a bummer, that is why I have to post this a little early. A while ago Amanda tagged me, and I decided to save it for my anniversary. So here it is.

*WHERE DID YOU MEET YOUR HUSBAND? At good old Institute, he was in my seat.
*WHAT WAS THE FIRST THING YOU SAID TO YOUR HUSBAND? Your in my seat.
*WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST DATE? I tricked him into our first date. We went to the Imax and then to San Tan mountains.
*WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST KISS? This is really going to make me sound bad. Our first date! However I would like to add we had been hanging out the week prior.
*DID YOU HAVE A LONG OR SHORT COURTSHIP/ENGAGEMENT? Wade and I dated for a year and half. We were engaged for a little over 2 months.
*WHERE DID YOU GET ENGAGED? Ussary Pass. Wade was so nervous. After he asked and I said Yes, we went to look at Christmas lights around the city. (after I had to hike back down in the dark) I put this in here because some people know how much I dislike hiking in the dark. Wade loves it!
*WHERE DID YOU GET MARRIED? The Mesa Temple.
*HOW DID THE RECEPTION GO? It was lovely. It was not the hippie vision I had wanted, but my mother really wanted to help plan it. It was great fun, great food, great dancing! I pretty much had nothing to do with it.
*THE HONEYMOON? About 2 months later we had saved enough for my dream Honeymoon to Disneyland. It was the nicest motel 8 I had ever stayed at. It was Wade’s first trip to Disneyland. We had a great time.
What can I say… Being married for six years has really flown by. Wade is a fantastic husband. He exceeded my expectations, and they were pretty high. My marriage is filled with a lot of great times, and best of all, laughter.I knew marriage was not going to be easy, and so did Wade, so I think that is one of our secrets to success. (and anniversary trips) I really love being married to my best friend. I know, I am making myself a little sick. This part is just for Wade..... Hey Brother! Thank you for making me laugh and smile. :) Love, your B.D. and E.C.!

Awww, how sweet....BARF! j/k. I remember thinking on your wedding day that you looked like a beautiful ray of sunshine. You were glowing and looked so happy...like an angel. Wade is a GREAT guy, but don't forget...you are an AMAZING person too, and you are both lucky to have each other. Love you, and happy anniversary!
Oh, that was so cute! I love the idea of going on a trip every year. Taylor and I should start that tradition! You were a beautiful bride!
You guys are so cute! Congradultaions on 6 years! I think that trip once a year sounds awesome!
Happy Anniversary. I still remember the day. Have fun on your trip.
Chari, You look so beautiful!! I love the train. Another thing we have in common, we celebrated our honeymoon a the happiest place on earth as well. We loved it and who could top off fireworks!!
I didn't remember that you met at institute? I thought it was at his house. You guys do look so good in that picture. Oh, and boy do I know about hiking in the dark, said perseverance to doubt. :)
One time when we were dating, Chari, Amanda, Dustin Allen and I went hiking in the desert at night (my idea.) I was used to just hiking by the moon's light, but Chari (being Chari) wanted to use the flashlights (and not be night-hiking) -- She was a trooper, and in retrospect, a good sport. Amanda, though, being her gung-ho self, eagerly hiked blindly. -- The next day Dustin gave a talk in church, where he compared the two girls - labeling them "perserverance" and "doubt." So even though I went on to marry "doubt," I never doubt the choice to marry her. Chari is sunshine to everyone. We are all blessed to have her -- me most of all. I love you Char. Hey brother. - Wade (your BD)
Wow Wade! That is SOOO freakin sweet I almost got teary-eyed. Seriously, so cute! Chari IS sunshine to everyone. There are not many people like her in this world and there needs to be! She is so selfless and caring, loving and thoughtful, funny and supportive, affectionate and imaginative...so many wonderful words to describe her! She is an AMAZING person...the family says it all the time on Sundays when you guys ditch out on us and don't show up :)~ Love the both of you! And thanks for watching my back...ask Chari, she'll know what I mean :)~
