So it is no secret that I live for Christmas. I love the happiness and light that seem to float in the air. This Christmas was special and humbling. It is also no secret to those who know me well, that this is a time of great strife and challenge for my family. Never mind I have no idea how to solve my own problems, I truly am at a lost about how to solve the challenges of the people I love. Never enough hours in a day it seems. And my usual plate of brownies really won’t make much difference I’m afraid. So I am at a lost. Or am I? I hang on to what I feel deep in my heart. That I am not in control, someone else is. This knowledge can be so freeing. I am comforted. I am loved. When Christmas rolls around I am reminded of the beautiful life and family I have been given, and I am nothing but grateful for this experience.
Thank you Christmas 2012- you were special in many ways. Now more then ever the true Christmas meaning rung out. Everywhere I looked the people I love most were displaying charity. It was wonderful.
