We had a fantastic fall break. I love having my son home with me. We seem to fill the time with priceless memories.
Although there was a lack of hot chocolate and crunchy orange leaves this fall break, the weather was nice enough to get out and enjoy an afternoon in the desert. Even if the goal was to sight the good old rifle.
You
You may of heard of the new Aquarium, at Arizona Mills. It is really quite impressive and over priced.I think it is worth the splurge for making memories at least once. Gavin told me it "WAS THE BEST DAY OF HIS WHOLE LIFE". So maybe he is easy to impress, but it was awesome to hear that. It was a busy day and therefore a little loud for my son, but most places our. I am ecstatic to tell you despite the horrific decibel level, Weston still had a great experience. We were all very captivated by our up and close encounter with life under the sea. Weston would push his face right up against the glass, and wait for a Hammerhead shark to swim past, when one did his whole face would beam with a huge soft smile. Magic!!!
Lot's of family time!!!!
This was an important date on our Fall schedule. We have been planning on joining the Larson family for weeks now for the annual Walk to remember. I first officially met Stefani as a play therapist (not sure that is the real title) when Weston was first diagnosed. She has an amazingly kind heart, and a talent with working with special individuals, and their families. ;) We walked in memory of two important people. We were honored to take part. For more information about the organization and walk, here you go. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=143368632368255
When I want to do something with Weston and I am running short on creative ideas, we go for a quick ride on the train at Freestone Park.
