There are often days I wake up and say to myself (or out loud) I don't want want to do this today, it's hard, not fair, blah blah blah or yada yada yada. On the worst of those days I pop in one of my all time favorites, and try to take the message in for the billionth time. It's a Wonderful Life. I was recently speaking to one of dearest, favorite, friends, we were going back and forth listing why life is so hard. Some days I think I have the answer, and just when I think I have it figured out, I am reminded quickly how I don't. May I please suggest this movie for the Holiday season? Maybe with hot chocolate and a cookie frosting party? It's long, old, but beautiful. That is why my blog is titled our Wonderful Life. 
Because undoubtedly we will all have Potter's in our lives. Obstacles that get in our way and make us doubt.
But with the right perspective it looks like a Wonderful Life. ( except if your eyes are closed and you are having a tantrum :) So if you see me looking grumpy, just remind me.
I want to give a big hug to my family. I love you all. You mean the world to me, all of you.

I love this movie because it's message is timeless. We all need a reminder every now and then. Whenever I get down about life and certain trials being hard I try to look at everything with a new perspective...then I realize, I have it pretty good.
I dont think I have ever once seen you grumpy. I should watch this movie though...it has been a long time since I have seen it.
I don't think I've ever seen the whole movie. Maybe I should put it on my to-do list. As for the grumpy part, I don't think I'v ever seen you in a bad mood. Wait...I take that back maybe you were upset when we were tossed about on Yellowstone lake, but that was more terror than grumpiness. :)

Hey Chari, yes I did get the message that you weren't able to make it. Hope you guys had a fun trip out of town. I'll post pictures of the shower as soon as I get them from Stefani. Thanks for the gift that's both naughty and nice, I am intrigued. :) If it's easiest for you you're welcome to drop it by my parents, or if you'd like to meet up for lunch or something one day it would be great to see you.
